The purpose of the DBE Supportive Services Program is to increase the number of certified DBE contractors and consultants doing business with West Virginia Department of Transportation and the dollar percentage awarded to DBEs, as well as contribute to DBEs' growth and eventual self-sufficiency, by assisting with learning how to do business with WVDOT, how to comply with all required regulations, and by accomplishing the program's goals and objectives.
The following services are provided through the program:
- Workshops for contractors and consultants.
- Ten individual training classes.
- Capacity building and developmental assistance through the Business Development Program.
